Heart doesn't work without it's soul, nor likewise, one's soul cannot function without it's heart. Together they both play a song of two chords, constantly harmonizing, constantly promoting the other. If Tomas is the heart, then Mari Katherine must be the soul. They infect everyone around them with joy. Their two chord song resounds throughout their character both alone and together. I came to realize on my return drive home that Tomas and Mari Katherine's wedding wasn't for them, but it was their gift to share with everyone of their family and friends. They shared their song with everyone around them and grew their two chord song into choir of joy.
