charlie & krista | engagement

Somehow this song by Tony Bennett seems to slightly echo the feelings I have for this splendid place.  But amidst the hilly streets and cluttered cable skies, finding such beautiful couples like Charlie and Krista make the experience that much better.

"I Left My Heart In San Francisco"

The loveliness of Paris seems somehow sadly gray
The glory that was Rome is of another day
I've been terribly alone and forgotten in Manhattan
I'm going home to my city by the Bay

I left my heart in San Francisco
High on a hill, it calls to me
To be where little cable cars climb halfway to the stars
The morning fog may chill the air, I don't care

My love waits there in San Francisco
Above the blue and windy sea
When I come home to you, San Francisco
Your golden sun will shine for me

It was one of those opportunities in life you must snatch up, when I was inquired upon to 2nd shoot for Erik Clausen in Dallas.  Erik, being both an amazing photographer and businessman, I knew I couldn't pass up such an opportunity as this.  I am so glad I seized the moment.

It was a privilege to photograph alongside Erik, and wedding clients Melanie and Barclay were everything such a photographer could hope for.  Easy-going and appreciative, and completely on board with any and all our ideas.  Besides, getting to shoot in Dallas is great but to shoot Dallas in the fall is even better!

Here are a few of the moments I walked away with.
